Associate Attorney

Friedman & Ranzenhofer, PC (WNY-Lawyers.com) offers a great opportunity for an attorney to grow with our prestigious general practice law firm. We seek a highly organized associate attorney to be a key contributor to our successful Akron, NY firm. This position will support two senior partners with varied client services such as personal injury litigation, DWI/criminal defense, family/matrimonial law, commercial litigation and evictions. Duties include counseling clients; drafting pleadings, motions and legal documents; legal research and writing; and court appearances in Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Wyoming, Orleans, Monroe, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties.

The ideal candidate has one to three years general practice experience, an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to provide legal services to a diverse client base throughout Western New York. Recent graduates admitted to the NY bar with relevant law clerk experience are also encouraged to apply. Paralegal Internship Program

Are you passionate about pursuing a new career as a paralegal? Friedman & Ranzenhofer, PC (WNY-Lawyers.com) is accepting applications from highly motivated interns for our Paralegal Internship Program.  Our Paralegal Internship Program is a perfect position for anyone who is thinking about pursuing a career as a paralegal and desires real -world training. This is a paid, part-time or full-time position.

We are a rapidly growing four-attorney law firm based in Akron, NY. Our intern will receive on the job training under the close direction of attorneys and paralegals in a wide variety of practice areas, including probate, estate planning, corporations, employment law, civil litigation, family law, criminal defense, and evictions.

Learn in a friendly atmosphere how to prepare estate planning, litigation, corporation and eviction documents. Administrative support duties include assisting our office team with answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining files, drafting correspondence, and interacting with our clients, attorneys and staff. Candidates must have excellent computer, organizational and communication skills, and a friendly customer service approach.

Our policy is to train and promote from within the office. Thus, employees who have proven themselves on the job have been accorded significant positions of responsibility. Many of our paralegals began with entry-level positions.

Business Development & Marketing Director Internship Program

Friedman & Ranzenhofer, PC (WNY-Lawyers.com) is accepting applications from highly motivated interns for our Business Development & Marketing Director Internship Program.  Our Internship Program is a perfect position for anyone who is thinking about pursuing a career as a law firm marketing director and desires real -world training. This is a paid, part-time or full-time position

The intern plans, coordinates, and implements the firm’s, practice groups’, and individual attorney’s activities with respect to marketing, business development, public relations, and client services. The objective is to increase visibility and brand recognition to strengthen and expand the firm’s client base. The intern must observe confidentiality of client and firm matters. The major job functions are: social media community management, website revisions, content marketing, event planning and management, analysis of the competition, promoting our lawyers through speaking engagements, interacting with the media, referral attorney management, E-mail and print newsletters, tracking the source of new clients, print ad management and design, press releases, seminar power point presentations, sponsorships and directory listing.
